LEARNING OBJECTIVES | After successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Examine the efficacy and safety of front-line treatment options for chronic myeloid leukemia
- Discuss strategies for optimizing current standards of care for patients with Philadelphia chromosome–negative myeloproliferative neoplasms
- Analyze the impact of iron chelation therapy on survival in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes
- Evaluate recent clinical trial data regarding therapeutic advances in the management of patients with multiple myeloma, and evaluate the practical implications of these data
