Overview
These interviews discuss recently released data from the 2011 Malignant Lymphoma Meeting in Lugano focusing on various aspects of the management of patients with hematologic malignancies. |
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the latest management approaches for hematologic malignancies including lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and multiple myeloma
- Evaluate difficult or unusual problems encountered by the practicing hematologist/oncologist and identify appropriate management options based on emerging data
- Discuss issues surrounding the design and conduct of clinical trials that incorporate novel agents and/or regimens for patients with hematologic malignancies
- Summarize emerging data in the management of multiple hematologic malignancies and integrate new findings into clinical practice
