During this case-based meeting, leaders in the field discuss with participants, in an interactive format, clinical issues encountered daily by practicing physicians.

Target Audience

This educational activity is designed for Pan-European medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, and other healthcare providers actively involved in the management of patients with breast cancer. This meeting is restricted to healthcare professionals based outside of the United States.

Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate currently approved and available treatment options for patients with metastatic breast cancer, commenting on the degree to which these strategies provide clinical benefit and affect quality of life
  • Strategize potential solutions to overcome treatment barriers for patients with metastatic breast cancer who have failed multiple rounds of chemotherapy
  • Summarize therapeutic options and clinical challenges in the management of patients with metastatic breast cancer and CNS metastases
  • Discuss the role of discordant pathology results after rebiopsy of a metastasis and how these results may impact therapy selection
